Overview
Join our cultural tour of Sri Lanka and embark on a 5-day adventure to explore some of the most culturally-rich destinations in the country. Starting in Negombo, our tour will take you through some of the most iconic sites in Sri Lanka, including the Dutch Canal, Dambulla Cave Temple, Sigiriya Rock, Polonnaruwa, Akukana Buddha Statue, and the Tooth Relic Temple in Kandy.
Our first stop on this cultural tour is the Dutch Canal in Negombo, where you can witness the remnants of Dutch architecture and engineering. From there, we'll head to the Dambulla Cave Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that boasts over 150 Buddha statues and paintings dating back to the 1st century BC.
Next, we'll visit the majestic Sigiriya Rock, an ancient rock fortress that stands over 660 feet tall and is surrounded by lush green forests. Climb to the top and be rewarded with breathtaking views of the surrounding landscapes.
In Polonnaruwa, we'll explore the ruins of the ancient city, once the thriving capital of Sri Lanka—Marvel at the intricate architecture and engineering feats of this ancient civilization.
We'll also visit the towering Akukana Buddha Statue, an 11-meter-high statue dating back to the 12th century. This statue is considered one of the best examples of ancient Sri Lankan sculpting.
Our final stop on this cultural tour is the Tooth Relic Temple in Kandy, home to Sri Lanka's most sacred relic - the tooth of the Buddha. Admire the stunning architecture and immerse yourself in the rich history and culture of Sri Lanka.

Upon arrival at the airport, you will be transferred to your hotel in Negombo. You'll embark on a city tour of Negombo, where you'll visit the charming Dutch canals and the local fish market. Afterward, you'll return to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

Visit the Dambulla Cave Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its murals and Buddha statues. Your expert guide will provide insights into the history and significance of the temple. Take photos and enjoy a dinner and overnight stay at your Dambulla hotel.

Sigiriya and Polonnaruwa sites: Visit Sigiriya Rock Fortress, a UNESCO World Heritage Site with breathtaking views and a fascinating history lesson from your guide. Visit the Aukana Buddha statue in the morning, one of the finest examples of ancient Sinhalese sculpture. Kandy, the last royal capital of Sri Lanka. You'll visit the Kandy Herbal Garden to see native plants and herbs, and then proceed to the Temple of the Tooth Relic, a sacred Buddhist site that houses the relic of the tooth of Buddha. You'll learn about the temple's history and legends and have the option to watch a traditional Kandyan dance performance in the evening.

you'll visit a Peradeniya Botanical Garden and tea factory and learn about the process of making Ceylon tea. Then, you'll visit a gem museum to learn about Sri Lanka's gemstone mining history. Later, you'll be transferred back to the airport for your departure flight.
